Despite the title, the album does not focus on the theme of "goodbyes", sans for the titular tracks ("Farewell" and "Stairwell"). The album name is in reference to the featured staircase on the cover art, which is found in an apartment that NeonWabbit lived in for over 2 decades before moving to a different place.
