"Caring for Carin" is an Adult Contemporary / Ballad song by the Australian virtual band Neon and the Argie Bees. It is a slow chamber pop track that is loosely based on the lore of The-F0X's characters, Carin, Drake, and Kitty.
Accompanied by a separate instrumental outro track, it is due for release on the Four for F0X EP, alongside "Poem for a Poet" and "A Ballad for Kari & Sketch".
Background
In May 2022, NeonWabbit wrote demos for a The-F0X fanart gift project, which included "Caring for Carin", alongside other tracks like "Academons", and "The Pitter Patter of Drake's Draken Feetsies Running Towards You". As these tracks were composed during The Argie Bees' "second hiatus", they were forgetten about until a few years later, when it was decided to redevelop them.
Composition
The main ballad track seamlessly transitions into its separate orchestral outro track. Both tracks have a constant tempo rate of 124.8 BPM.
