Nyah: An Abridged Short is an upcoming animated short film based on the animated abridged webseries Nyah Has an Abridged Series. The film is to be directed by the abridged series' director Darien Brice Dickinson, and is as an abridged version of Nyah Has a Movie in the style of the more adult-orientated abridged webseries on which the short is based.

Production

Development

At some point during the development of the abridged series, the first plan on concluding it originally involved having the abridged series' cast pop up after the credits of Nyah Has a Movie in a post-credits stinger, bemoaning the preceding film, complaining that they weren't in it, and that they'd never see a proper conclusion to their abridged series.

However, when it was decided the abridged series should have a proper conclusion, the next plan was to have a short film where the abridged series cast recap the main Nyah Has a Movie film play alongside its credits, but the "vibe" did not work in cohesion with the ending of the film, and it was also realised that people might not want to watch a weirder and shorter version of the film they just watched immediately after it, and so it was decided to turn Nyah: An Abridged Short into a separate short.
