Flye 'n' Frie is an Australian media franchise whose eponymous characters are a male wingless kangaroo furred dragon, and a female mink-mink harpy, respectively. It was created in 2019 after Darien Brice Dickinson secured the rights to the Hioshiru and The-F0X-designed character Flye, and created the latter character of Frie as part of a contest for a chance to create an official character of the closed mink-mink harpy species.

Dickinson paired the two characters together simply as he realized that they shared similar names (Flye was not in mind at all as he was naming Frie), and inadvertently did not realise their names together could be a pun on "flying free" until much later. In September 2022, he outright purchased the entire mink-mink harpy species for $60 USD.
