Phase of Sparkledogs is an animated anthology series, produced by Studio RGB-Newt and distributed by The Fishal Project, with the character designs and visual design language of the show serving mostly as a parody of early 2000s internet culture, especially the "emo/goth", "otaku", and "punk rock skater" scenes.
The show follows the "sparkledog" character Phase, a winged anthropomorphic canine whose fur colour doesn't make any sense, who finds themselves in different genres and settings nearly every episode, with the exception of episodes which receive further "parts" that act as a continuation of the plotline from the initial episode which the part is connected to.
Intentionally, the animation style also inconsistently changes for certain shots, swapping between usage of software like Adobe Animate (to match the brush settings of classic Macromedia Flash cartoons), MS Paint, and Flipnote Studio 3D on the Nintendo 3DS.
