Neon Mascot (or simply just Mascot, and previously The Sushi Wabbit) is a European rabbit-wolf hybrid creature character, created, designed, and owned by NeonWabbit; originally appearing as an alien cat mask parasite who attached itself to Beachboy in NeonWabbit's first major production, a long-running comic in the "Darien Daily" fanzine titled Surfman (of which only the first story in the series, titled Surfman in the "NO" Race, survives). As the art style evolved over the years, the ears became longer, and it was decided to change them from a cat into a rabbit.

The character also inspired NeonWabbit's current online username, replacing the Fishal username first used in 2006 on Disney's Club Penguin, and the EliqueStudios username first used circa 2008. They are the longest surviving character still in use by NeonWabbit, and are thus featured in logo ident cards for Studio RGB-Newt and other places where there needs to be a stand-in to represent NeonWabbit, but they are not considered his "fursona", and remain a mascot.

In the years since their creation, the alien parasite mask was retroactively named Maskot, and when Mascot's humanoid form was redesigned by LuckyCessy, they were given a long canine tail, and the "W" in Wabbit was retroactively made to stand for "Wolf", confirming Mascot as a wolf-rabbit hybrid.

They are the eponymous lead "band member" of the Australian virtual band and studio orchestra The Neoclassics (previously known as Neon and the Argie Bees), a musical group who make original albums in a variety of genres, and soundtracks to Studio RGB-Newt productions, including their animated films and video games.
