The game's title is a reference to the first track on King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard's public domain[1] album Polygondwanaland[2], "Crumbling Castle". This song, and other tracks from the album are included in the game, and are also referenced through level names.
Other original songs and score, which are unique to the game, are to be compiled into the soundtrack album Crescendo Castle (see § below).
